1" Deep               240 Square feet

2" Deep*             120 Square feet

3" Deep              80 Square feet

4" Deep              60 Square feet

6" Deep              40 Square feet

12" Deep            20 Square feet

1 cubic yard = 1.4 tons

So how many tons do I need?

For 2" thick:
Square footage / 120 = tons or
length x width / 120 = tons

Example:
60ft x 30ft / 120 =15 tons

For dry river bed (rip rap):
Square footage / 50 = tons or
length x width / 50 = tons

Due to variations associated with naturally occurring products, landscape decorative rock color and sizing may vary.  Tee Pee Sand & Gravel makes no warranties regarding these naturally occurring variations. all loads, including screened rock, sized rock and rip rap, will contain fines.
